Situated on the borders of Northamptonshire, Rutland (Leicestershire) and Lincolnshire. 4-9 mile radius of Corby, Uppingham, Oundle, Oakham, Rutland Water and Stamford.

Singles £35.50 per person per night, twin or double with private washroom toilet and private bathroom £26.50 pppn, family room double/single en-suite £26.50 pppn (all rooms are available for a single night or longer stay).

Charming Georgian home (Listed 1805) designed by Humphrey Repton in peaceful hamlet. Suitable for anyone on holiday or 'home from home' accommodation for business people. Large parking area off road. Large gardens and fields surround the house. Trampolene & croquet in garden, horses in fields. Interior elegantly furnished. Magazines, books, useful items, television, radio, coffee / tea making facilities, fresh flowers, fruit and bottled water in bedrooms. Each room is personally decorated and unlike the uniformity of hotels! Microwave, video, iron, hair dryer, telephone, freezer available. Our own Herbal Beauty Care company - MARTHA HILL products are here for guests use with brochures to take away. Beautiful sitting room and gardens open to enjoy. Breakfast is served on fine blue and white china in stunning dining room - not to mention the old paintings! Our meals are free-range and organic, cooked on the aga. Our own eggs, local sausages and bacon from the Farm Shop in the village, mushrooms and tomatoes. Vegetarians welcome of course.

There are two excellent village pubs within 1-2 miles: The White Swan in Harringworth and The Queen's Head in Bulwick. Other restaurants are situated in the surrounding towns of Uppingham, Oakham, Stamford and Corby. We can book restaurants and local taxis for you.

Directions
Laxton is off A43 between Corby and Stamford. There is only one road running through the village. The Old Vicarage is sign posted at the bottom of our drive. Nearest mainline rail stations are Kettering or Peterborough. There is no public transport in the village.
